NWÄR SKIN (pronounced ‘noir’) is a skincare line committed to eliminating plastic-based packaging in the beauty and cosmetics industry. Our mission is to revolutionize the personal care routine with sustainable products crafted to significantly reduce this harmful, post-consumer waste.
Each year the U.S. cosmetics industry produces over 120 billion units of single-use personal care items. It’s estimated that only 9% of these items are reused or properly recycled.

Our products are 100% biodegradable, water-soluble film strips that once dissolved, will deliver skincare products directly to the user’s skin. These plant-based film strips eliminate the need for traditional cosmetic packaging like bottles, pumps, and jars. Each strip equals one dose per use.

CHANDRA DAVIS
Beauty studio owner and creator, Chandra Davis is a licensed Esthetician in Illinois with over 6 years of experience in performing cosmetic services. Throughout her career, she has worked with various skin types and conditions ranging from hormonal acne to premature aging skin. She enjoys crafting skincare products at home and researching innovative plant-based ingredients inspired by the food and packaging industries.
With an avid interest in the growing climate crisis, she believes the key to creating sustainable change lies within the community experienced by brands and consumers.
